Australian Federal Elections 2013
The Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, announced that the Australian federal election will be held on Saturday 14 September 2013.
Early (in-person) voting will be offered at the Australian Embassy in Zagreb from Monday 2 September 2013. Election arrangements including voting times will be published on the Embassy web page closer to the election.
In the meantime, all Australian’s are encouraged to check their electoral roll details on https://oevf.aec.gov.au/ . Information relating to being overseas at election time is available on the Australian Electoral Commission’s (AEC) website www.aec.gov.au . If you have further queries relating to enrolment status or eligibility, or entitlement to vote, please visit the AEC website, or contact the AEC on info@aec.gov.au or by calling +61 2 6273 8606.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR VISA APPLICANTS
The Australian Government is pleased to announce the expansion of the electronic tourist visa to provide more convenient and streamlined service to citizens of Croatia.
From the 1 July 2011, the Australian Government is providing access to the online electronic tourist visa service (known as e676 Tourist Visa), to citizens of Croatia.
